Job Description

U.S. Bank is seeking the position of Software Engineer - Fullstack Automation in Irving, TX (multiple openings). Position may allow for occasional telecommuting from within commuting distance of reporting office in Irving, Texas with manager's approval.

Essential Responsibilities:

• Analyze, design, test, develop, and maintain software products;

• take responsibility for software artifacts produced and ensure minimal impact to customer experience;

• build and maintain backend and frontend test automation frameworks;

• assist development teams with issues in development and testing phase before pushing to production;

• work across teams to understand testing requirements and create comprehensive test plan, create automation, provide sign off, and communicate it with stakeholders; lead the development of testing frameworks which process and validate massive amounts of data;

• lead API driven testing experience;

• lead customer engagement and drive and participate in validation of patches and releases;

• work closely with the development team to add integration tests and contribute to improvement of Unit test code coverage;

• evaluate open-source test automation frameworks;

• perform code review;

• develop UI tests;

• write backend integration tests and tests for RESTful APIs;

• implement Test Automation while driving processes to reduce manual test coverage;

• instill best practices for test suite automation and frameworks and documentation;

• maintain strong knowledge of Agile testing methodologies and best practices;

• maintain understanding of web, mobile and desktop technologies;

• implement and execute test strategies on all supported platforms to help improve overall quality and test code;

• implement In-Sprint automation and thus certify and deliver product to the production environment at a rapid pace environment;

• enhance automation of software products across various platforms (viz web, REST services and mobile); and understand and implement cloud concepts which assist during migration process.

Basic Qualifications:

Requires a Bachelor's degree in Computer Applications, Computer Science, Computer Information Systems, or Information Technology (or foreign degree equivalent), plus 5 years of prior related experience. Will accept a 3- or 4-year bachelor's degree.

Required Skills/Experience:

Must have at least 5 years of experience with each of the following: Jenkins; performing proof of concepts on open-source tools; supporting production releases; building automation frameworks; developing scripts; maintenance of frameworks and scripts; and conducting sprint ceremonies. Must have at least 1 year of experience with each of the following: Java; Selenium; Behavior Driven Development (BDD); API; SQL; Cucumber; Maven; and Continuous Integration Continuous Delivery (CI/CD). Position may allow for occasional telecommuting from within commuting distance of reporting office in Irving, Texas with manager's approval.

Base pay range may vary if an offer is made for work in a different location. Pay Range: $139,464 - $150,500
