Software Engineer (Cloud Marketing Enablement)

Responsibilities

Principal's Global Brand and Experience team is growing, and we're looking for strong, passionate Software Engineers to provide an easy, enjoyable experience for our customers through the use of technology! We team up with customer experience and marketing partners to deliver innovative technology solutions to improve the experience our customers have with Principal. We are the specialists in the solutions we deliver!

Qualifications

We're looking for someone with:

• Associate's or Bachelor's degree with a preference in a science, technology, engineering, or math related field or equivalent work experience plus 3+ years of IT experience

• JavaScript programming experience

• Experience with development for cloud platforms (we use AWS, but were open to others with experience in GCP, Heroku, etc.)

• Experience implementing and extending vendor solutions

Additional preferred technical experience:

• Marketing automation platforms (examples include: Salesforce Marketing Cloud, Marketo, Eloqua, Adobe Marketing Cloud, etc.)

• Working with API calls, system integrations, and data positioning/movement

• Mentoring, teaching and growing skill sets of others

Hours

This role will be involved in a rotational on-call.

Location

This position will reside either fully remote within the US, or in our Des Moines, IA headquarters.
