Your Opportunity

New Relic is looking for a software engineer to help us build software that makes the external customer experience with the support team truly awesome. We strive to allow customers to intuitively self-serve and have rapid resolution times for issues that require human touch through software.

We're a small team that likes to keep it fun by working together while also keeping an eye on putting out quality products.

What You'll Do

  • Build/maintain applications that allow customers to interact with the support team

  • Interacting with internal stakeholders to insure alignment on team efforts

  • Unit testing, integration testing, and performance testing

  • Serve as customer support on a rotating basis to help with issues that our customers may experience

  • Work on POCs to help shape the next generation of our applications

  • Utilize the agile process to help the team plan and implement its work

Your Qualifications

Must-have:

  • Ruby experience

  • JavaScript experience

  • Experience supporting customer issues

  • Experience writing unit and integration tests

  • Strong communication skills

  • A desire to work collaboratively

Nice-to-have:

  • Knowledge/experience with containers

  • Experience working in React, GraphQL, and Jest frameworks

  • Go (GoLang) experience
