Software Engineer

Risk Management Solutions, Inc. is recruiting for our Louisville, CO office: Software Engineer (job code #3666): Integrate existing and new catastrophe models into Azure cloud-based offering. Write services in Java on Linux operating system in the cloud environment. Enhance and debug code written in C++ and Microsoft .NET. Interface with Microsoft SQL Server for storing and retrieving relational data. Process large amounts of data efficiently in a memory-intensive environment. Develop using Agile methodology. Maintain highest code quality and collaborate with other development teams. Telecommuting allowed.

Education and Experience Required:

  • Master's degree or foreign equivalent in Computer Science and 36 months of experience.

Special Requirements:
36 months in the following:

  • C++ and Microsoft .NET;

  • Linux operating system;

  • Windows operating system;

  • Microsoft SQL Server;

  • Computing algorithms and memory management.
    6 months in the following:

  • Java;

  • Cloud based development.

This role joins a dynamic team that enjoys working with complex applications and products that utilize software, GIS, engineering and problem-solving skills. Our flexible scheduling and outstanding benefits support success in a highly creative, innovative, and energetic company.<br /> <br /> As an integral part of the Ubisense geospatial project delivery team, the successful candidate will be a key contributor on a project team implementing Ubisense products to our customers in the Utility and Telecommunications markets.
