Position Description

Veradigm is hiring a talented Software Engineer, passionate about creating life-saving technology for doctors and patients. Our cloud-based enterprise level Web Application is written primarily in .NET, utilizing Angular UI with a combination of ASP.NET and SQL Server as backend. You will take on the challenge of solving complex technical problems to deliver vital, reliable product features to our customers.

• Lead development of technical solutions that are secure, robust, performant, and scalable.

• Employ technical and thought leadership to drive products from inception to release.

• Work with stakeholders to ensure the solution meets business needs.

• Write correct, well-factored code that is testable and maintainable, and that demonstrates best practices.

• Balance engineering costs of development, testing, deployment complexity, and run-time cost, to deliver optimum value for the business and customers.

Responsibilities

• Develop complex web application logic using C# ASP.NET and Angular.

• Author SQL Server database objects (stored procedures, tables, etc.)

• Develop and test business logic, access a SQL Server data storage technology, and interact through REST patterns, and EF.

• Write unit tests and functional tests that cover all of your code.

• Write and groom stories to define, estimate, and track your team's work.

• Act as rotating scrum master to help your team stay on course.

• Measure, find, and fix performance and security issues.

• Review code and provide feedback to improve code quality.

• Demonstrate best practices for coding and team processes.

Skills/Qualifications

• SQL Server

• 3-4 year+ years of experience

• Angular

• 2 years+ of experience

• .Net (C#, MVC)- 3 - 4 years of experience

• Microsoft Azure - a plus

• Git / GitHub source control
