Lockheed Martin - Missiles and Fire Control Division is seeking experienced software engineering professionals to become a members of their Engineering team.
The selected candidate will provide Radar Signal Digital Processing technical support and perform DSP software development assignments from requirements analysis through final testing. The engineer will work with domain experts and military documentation to define requirements, establish use cases, create sequence diagrams, design system components using Object Oriented methods, implement DSP algorithms in C/C++, and document software designs and development.
The Digital Signal Processing Subsystem Engineer supports the development of DSP applications for deployment on real-time hardware. The engineering will design and document DSP algorithms, perform modeling and simulation, and develop and execute test plans. The engineer will work on cross-discipline teams of systems, hardware, software, and test engineers while supporting all phases of application development from concept through qualification testing.
The engineer will be responsible for following the appropriate standards, processes, and procedures throughout the software development life cycle. The engineer will support DSP technical leads with technical status and task schedules.
Bachelors degree from an accredited college in Computer Science, Electrical, or Computer Engineering is required for this position with 9 years of professional experience
The ability to work in an accelerated team environment and proven digital signal processor systems and software architecture for mission critical military applications with a minimum of five (5) years of directly relevant real-time radar signal processor professional experience.
The candidate must have a strong understanding of signal processing applications and requirements for Radar systems, functional modeling, C++ programming, Linux, software engineering processes, and software product life cycle.
Ability to design and document DSP algorithms, perform modeling and simulation, and develop and execute test plans.
Work on cross-discipline teams of systems, hardware, software, and test engineers while supporting all phases of application development from concept through qualification testing.
Performed Real-Time, embedded Software Engineer experienced in developing and integrating software in a Hardware In The Loop (HWIL) environment.
The candidate must have excellent organizational skills, interpersonal skills and be able to communicate at both programmatic and technical levels with subordinates, peers, senior management levels and the customer
Travel as needed is required
Candidate must have a Final secret security clearance
