Who You Are:

Within the RMS C6ISR Division, we are seeking a motivated and experienced Software Engineer to join our team. The successful candidate will join the Weapons Platform Integration (WPI) portfolio to make an immediate impact on the Advanced Sensors Technology team.

The qualified candidate will have experience developing software while working and communicating within a cross collaborative team. The candidate should be comfortable presenting and demonstrating capabilities to both internal leadership and external customers.

Basic Qualifications:

• Experience working with linux Operating Systems

• Experience with a variety of programming languages such as Java, React-based Javascript, Python

• Experience with the full software development lifecycle from concept through operations

• Experience with modern DevSecOps tools and practices (Gitlab, Nexus, Continuous Integration / Continuous Deployment)

• Interim secret clearance at to start, and ability to get a TS/SCI clearance

Desired Skills:

• Experience supporting teams with requirements interpretation, interface definition, and testing

• Experience with containerization technologies including Docker, Docker Swarm, Kubernetes, and Podman

• Full-Stack Engineer knowledgeable in PXE Booting, Grub, Linux Block Devices, Partitioning, and Networking

• Experience with provisioning technologies including Ansible, Kickstart, and Packer

• Familiarity with software concepts including microservice based architecture, REST APIs, and Pub/Sub Messaging

• Experience with Spring Framework for Java

• User Interface design and implementation

• Software/Hardware integration and testing

Ability to Work Remotely: Part-time Remote Telework:

The employee selected for this position will work part of their work schedule remotely and part of their work schedule at a designated Lockheed Martin facility. The specific weekly schedule will be discussed during the hiring process.

Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees.

Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.

Schedule for this Position: 4x10 hour day, 3 days off per week
