Computer Task Group is seeking a Software Engineer to work an 11 month assignment for our client in Grand Prairie, TX.

Description:

Our Software Engineering team is looking for creative software engineers with a desire for professional growth and technical challenge to be responsible for leading, developing and supporting software requirements, architecture, design, code, unit test, and software integration of the Miniature Hit-to-Kill (MHTK) OFS (Operational Flight Software) CSCI.

Skill/Experience/Education

Mandatory- Experience with Embedded and Application based programming languages (i.e. C/C , VC )

  • Experience with Power-On BIT (PBIT)

  • Experience developing a robust, scalable software architecture for a real-time tactical weapons system

  • Experience developing software for ARM/Intel processors

  • Windows/Linux experience

Desired Tool Experience:

Parasoft C Test, Xilinx SDK, Embedded Linux, C , Red Hat with Admin experience, JIRA, GitLab, Code Collaborator, and Klocwork.

Description: Precision Fires requires a Systems Requirements person to perform requirements and risk/opportunity management activities for Precision Fires Programs, including Launcher Position Navigation System Updates. Duties may include: Prepare, coordinate approval, and maintain program specification trees. Conduct system requirements analysis including preparation of system and subsystem functional analysis (hardware and software). Prepare requirement allocations to define requirements for lower tier subsystems, considering threat, customer needs, and budget. Prepare ECPs for System specification and Performance Specifications based on allocated requirements; coordinate with other company and customer elements to assure approvals. Maintain program specifications including necessary coordination of changes, tailoring and review. Maintain upward and downward traceability of requirements between levels of system hierarchy; maintain documentation to trace critical requirements to customer documents, design decisions, trade studies, and other major program documents. Prepare and maintain requirements verification matrices (including schedule trace) and verify system performance meets the defined requirements. Support all Design Assurance, Program, and Peer reviews in support of SE activities. Prepare Risk & Opportunity Management Plans and perform as R&O manager. Skill/Experience/Education Mandatory: Candidate must be proficient in DOORS and RPE (Rational Publishing Engine). A technical background such as an engineering degree or equivalent experience. Familiar with MS Office products. Good communication skills and ability to effectively work with a team. Desired: Familiarity with missiles, flight vehicles or related sub-systems. Experience in documenting the system design through block diagrams, product structure, technical reports and similar. Experience in capturing and documenting interfaces at system and subsystem level. Experience in system analysis and decomposition. Experience working in a team, and working with suppliers. Hands on experience integrating hardware to a system. Software requirements decomposition.
