This role is on site at our headquarters in Wichita, KS and offers a hybrid schedule, providing you with flexibility and work/life balance.
What You Will Do
Seek out and address critical issues across multiple FHR business applications by leveraging your technical skills on a cross functional team
Write and maintain code, implement automated testing and monitoring, and work with your team and architecture specialists to ensure that systems are robust, efficient, and well-maintained
Thrive on pursuing difficult and technical challenges on a daily basis, continually pushing the envelope of innovation and deepening your problem-solving expertise
Demonstrate proficiency in a wide range of technical skills throughout the entire software engineering life cycle
Apply established software architecture, patterns, and shared resources to expedite software development efforts
Maintain a sense of urgency based on business priorities and communicate current and future solution state effectively
Participate in on-call rotation to ensure system reliability and promptly address any issues, maintaining high availability and performance standards
Who You Are (Basic Qualifications)
Proven professional software engineering experience
Proven professional experience in software engineering using C#.NET or VB.NET, and Typescript
Proven professional experience using AWS Serverless Services
Proven professional experience working with a database technology
What Will Put You Ahead
In-depth experience in AWS Lambda, Dynamo, RDS, API Gateway, CloudFront, and other AWS serverless technologies
In-depth experience writing JavaScript or Typescript running in a Node.js runtime
In-depth experience in React for UI development
In-depth experience in Serverless Stack or Serverless Framework
Knowledge on graph databases (Neo4J preferred)
Experience guiding, mentoring, and influencing other engineers and teams
Professional experience in learning and applying new technology and concepts
