About The Role

Were looking for a passionate full-stack developer who isnt afraid to jump into new problems and find creative solutions. Were a small team, so we need someone who is excited to work on all parts of the technology stack. 99% of the time we write software in JavaScript.

Well consider applications at various skill levels. If youre excited about building great software then we want to talk to you.

What Youll Do

  • Build Kickbox products from whiteboard design through to production deployment and beyond.
  • Work on all parts of our stack, backend, frontend, and everywhere in-between.
  • Design testing and monitoring systems to help our apps run smoothly.
  • Work with others in UX, marketing, and sales to make sure were building the right things.


What Youll Need

  • Demonstrable proficiency in software engineering. Node.js experience preferred.
  • Thorough understanding of web and system security best practices.
  • Fluency in version control/git.
  • Understanding of MVC frameworks.
  • HTML / CSS / JavaScript / Angular / SQL.

  • Focus on prioritized items and avoid scope creep.
  • Effectively work with other team members in a professional manner.
  • Contribute to software design discussions.
  • Show initiative in your work and in improving Kickbox.
