Title: Software Engineer
As a Software Engineer in Customer Proactive Services you will be a member of a delivery scrum team and work with multiple stakeholders to build and implement solutions improve capability, reliability and efficiency of controller reprogramming as part of the Service ADVISOR product. In addition, you will;
Participate in functional requirement analysis and design to drive improvements to reprogramming solutions
Work to design, develop, test and integrate high quality solutions across product teams and the Enterprise
Follows Agile software design methodology for software configuration and development.
Analyzing medium to high complexity requests and helps in formulating plans for execution (with minimum supervision)
Provides production support of the system
Required Skills, Knowledge, & Relevant Work Experience
2 or more years of experience in Visual C++ (MSVC) and/or Linux C++ programming (Both will be added advantage)
Experience on C++ 11/14/17, STL, Multithreading in C++
1 or more years of experience with Agile development process
Experience working with Test Driven Development (TDD) and Test Automation
Experience with CI/CD build processes and configuration
Excellent analytical and problem-solving ability
Excellent communication skills to co-ordination with Global team members, business partners and other stakeholders
Desired Skills, Knowledge & Relevant Work Experience
Understanding of CAN and vehicle diagnostics domain
Understanding of embedded programming and tools: Cross compilations, toolchains
Experience or understanding of Node.js and Node.js C++ extensions
Experience or understanding of working on Java web services
AWS or similar Cloud experience
