Are you a Software Development Engineer who loves innovating and creating new products? Are you excited about artificial intelligence technologies and conversational agents? We are looking for a Seasoned Software Engineer to develop cloud-enabled AI solutions in the healthcare industry.

As a core member of our engineering team, you will develop the software tools and technologies that accelerate our ability to help customers. Working within an Agile framework, you'll leverage your experience in software development, machine learning, APIs, cloud technologies, DevOps, and software testing to create innovative solutions to new problems.

What you'll do

  • Analyze, design, code, test, maintain, debug, and modify software, machine learning models, neural networks, and systems for service-based, web, mobile or cloud technologies in an agile team environment.

  • Consult with business partners and IT leaders to identify and understand problems and opportunities; recommend solutions; and apply system-wide, architectural view of solutions.

  • Apply Security and DevOps principles and practices to all production solutions

  • Perform unit testing and create and execute test automation, document test results, and participate in functional testing associated with team efforts.

  • Produce appropriate technical and architectural documentation

  • Analyze high risk production problems, assess alternatives and implement long-term solutions.

  • Support production Includes performance tuning, technical troubleshooting, debugging, call-rotation, and root cause analysis.

  • Support project initiatives collaborating with the rest of the team and stakeholders, ensuring that development milestones and deadlines are met. Provide mentoring to less experienced staff.

  • Assist in the development of IT standards and influence application of best practices in IT standards and procedures. Influence team strategy and contribute significantly to team planning.

What you'll bring

  • Bachelor's degree in computer science or information systems, or equivalent experience

  • 8+ years of software development experience

  • 2+ years Python experience

  • Experience developing ML/AI solutions to natural language, prediction, rules engine, probability assessment or classification problems.

  • Experience with REST API/ Web API creation, consumption, integration using Service Oriented Architecture, Microservices Architecture, and Data Streaming Architectures.

  • Experience working with cloud solutions

  • Strong team player with ability to influence and bring together differing points of view.

  • Experience automating tests and deployments in a cloud-based environment.

  • Deep technical knowledge in at least one area/technology and demonstrated deep hands-on expertise in disparate technologies. Demonstrated ability to think in terms of architecture. Demonstrated experience building multiple, high performance, stable and scalable solutions that have been deployed in enterprise setting.

  • Experience playing a leading implementation and deployment of successful enterprise-level system.

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills and good presentation skills for both technical and non-technical audiences.

  • Advanced experience in agile development and DevOps practices

As a Software Development Engineer in Test (SDET), you will be responsible for creation of automated testing tools, test automation frameworks, harnesses, and test scripts. The SDET has primary responsibility for test planning, test case design and execution, test case management, defect management, metrics collection and reporting. Focus is on increasing the overall effectiveness and efficiency of the software testing teams, increasing the technical depth of tests performed, and decreasing the effort required to perform repetitive testing activities. What you'll do * Use test automation to perform software testing activities for technically complex areas of testing, such as performance and load testing, SOA and web services testing, and backend data validation. * Work with other software testing staff to identify opportunities for the use of automated testing scripts, tools, harnesses, etc. Recommend technical strategies to contribute to the overall effectiveness and quality of testing projects to meet business needs. * Analyze business needs, project requirements, and technical constraints to design, estimate, build, and execute automated testing solutions which enable a level of depth, speed, or volume of testing that would not be feasible using manual testing techniques. * Independently write and maintain automated testing deliverables for ongoing consumption and use by both manual and automated testing engineers. * Develop automated test scripts to emulate production workloads and activities and assesses performance and scalability of software systems under load. Analyze results, identify trends, and report performance metrics to other IT technical staff. Work with architects, developers, system administrators, network engineers, client-server engineers, and other technical IT staff to troubleshoot and identify root cause of performance problems. * Troubleshoot from various perspectives and identify all facets of technical issues and risks within sphere of influence. Communicate and recommend solutions and mitigations that consider downstream impacts. * Effectively & professionally communicate status, risks, issues, and findings verbally and in writing. Translate technical language to non-technical customers, and influence peers, leads, and managers across IT. * Promote creativity and proactively seek alternative solutions to business problems. * Find ways to add LEAN internally and cross departmentally, and drive only processes that are value-added. * Promote teamwork, facilitate collaboration across testing teams and lead by example within the department. * Perform other duties as assigned. What you'll bring * Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field or four years' work experience in Information Technology. * Seven years' experience in Quality Assurance or Software Testing and at least three years' of the experience must be in test automation. * Deep technical knowledge of automated testing, performance, load and stress testing, design and implementation of automation frameworks, automated test script design, build, execution, and maintenance. * Solid knowledge of systems analysis and design, technical writing, logical and physical application architecture, including database, client-server, web, mainframe, middleware, and windows technologies. * Advanced skills in test planning and estimation, test case design, execution, and management, defect management, metrics, and reporting. * Track record in using innovation and creativity to solve business problems. * Ability to solve complex problems through critical thinking and troubleshooting. * Ability to find and recommend continuous improvement within scope of influence. * Ability to successfully collaborate across functions and departments. * Experience with agile methodologies as well as agile technical practices. * Experience with Mongo databases & Studio 3T are a plus.
