CDK Global's Flex engineering team is looking for talented engineers with a passion for their craft to join our growing team. This is a unique role which will have a material impact on the success and quality of a new software product with enormous growth potential. The Flex engineering team works on innovative new software that is used by car dealers to manage their operations, take care of their customers, and interact with the manufacturers. We are building our new software on the foundation of our rich automotive industry knowledge, experience, and current market presence. As a Software Engineer IV you will help to create the next generation of enterprise class software solutions at CDK!

If you have worked on bringing a large software product to market, or have a desire to gain this experience, this role might be perfect for you.

Responsibilities:

  • Lead the team's API development work, attend lead meetings, escalate issues, address problems quickly, take ownership for the team's APIs

  • Code high quality software components that meet engineering team standards

  • Troubleshoot issues

  • Conduct code reviews, scope and estimate requirements, educate and mentor engineers

  • Prioritize and solve problems in a fast paced environment

  • Stay current with middleware trends and apply best practices to your code

Required Skills:

  • 8+ years of experience in J2EE and Java object-oriented programming

  • 3+ years of Java SpringBoot Framework experience

  • Engineering leadership experience and passion for leading teams

  • Experience with source control (Git, GitHub Flow)

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent in IT, computer science or related field is preferred, with a * minimum of 2 years of directly related work experience in one of these fields (work experience may be used to in place of degree)

  • Experience working with distributed teams

  • Experience with Agile/Scrum methodologies

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills

  • An ongoing thirst for new knowledge and ideas, and a passion for software engineering as a Full Stack Engineer.

  • Creative problem-solving, proficient debugging and profiling

Preferred Skills:

  • Proficient with JavaScript (React knowledge preferred)
  • Ability to work full stack

To includeMeats, Fish, Vegetables, Pasta's, Salads, Pizza's, Stocks and Potatoes, etc. Specifically,you would be responsible for performing the following tasks to the higheststandards: * Prepares hot and cold food items in accordance with specifications and recipes or guest requests. Prepares breakfast food items to order utilizing standardized recipes to ensure consistency of product to the guest. Visually inspects, selects and uses only food items of the highest quality in the preparation of all assigned menu items. * Checks and controls the proper storage of products and utilizes portion control, eg., especially high cost meat and fish items. Keeps all refrigeration, storage, and working areas clean, to comply with health department regulations. * Prepares and executes daily food specials together with the area Supervisor. * Ensures all cooking equipment in working areas are clean and reports equipment not in proper working condition. * Prepares requisition for supplies and food items for production in their assigned work station. Reads and employs math skills to appropriately prepare items according to recipes. What are we looking for? EDUCATION Any combination of education andexperience equivalent to graduation from high school or any other combinationof education, training or experience that provides the required knowledge, skillsand abilities. High school diploma preferred. Formalized Culinary orApprenticeship program preferred. EXPERIENCE Previous cooking experiencerequired. Graduate of a Culinary SchoolPreferred. LICENSES OR CERTIFICATES Ability to obtain any governmentrequired license or certificate. Example: Multnomah County Health Card Permit;Oregon-Liquor Service Permit.
