What you'll do We are seeking a highly motivated, organized, and proactive Software Engineer / DevOps Intern to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills and a strong desire to learn and grow in a fast-paced environment.

The day-to-day Assist the DevOps team in developing, deploying, and maintaining infrastructure and software solutions for our Satellite Internet Service offerings Participate in the development and implementation of CI/CD pipelines, monitoring, and automation tools Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure smooth deployment of software updates and releases Proactively identify areas for improvement in our processes and infrastructure and propose innovative solutions to enhance our systems' performance and reliability Contribute to the documentation and maintenance of our internal knowledge base, including best practices, troubleshooting guides, and system diagrams Attend team meetings and actively participate in knowledge sharing and collaboration What you'll need Currently enrolled in or recently graduated from a degree program in Computer Science, Information Technology, Software Engineering, Electrical Engineering or a related field Working proficiency in English language Self-driven and proactive, with a willingness to take on new challenges and learn new technologies Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment. Basic understanding of data analysis and interpretation Demonstrated knowledge in coding and scripting Brazilian citizenship required What will help you on the job Familiarity with AWS cloud services and infrastructure Knowledge of Python programming languages Familiarity with containerization technologies, such as Docker or Kubernetes Experience using version control systems, such as Git At Viasat, we consider many factors when it comes to compensation, including the scope of the position as well as your background and experience. Base pay may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience.
