Responsibilities & Skills

Job Summary:

As a summer intern specializing in FPGA software with a focus on placement algorithms, you'll likely be involved in developing algorithms to optimize the physical placement of digital circuits on FPGAs. Your responsibilities may include designing efficient placement strategies and working on tools to enhance FPGA performance. This role could provide a unique opportunity to contribute to the advancement of FPGA technology.

Accountabilities:

• Utilize logic hierarchy-based floorplanning to explore whether we can improve overall placement performance• Compare the placement result with the result of the existent netlist-based floorplanning• Show the comparison in GUI for better presentation

Required Skills• Candidate of MS or Ph.D. in Electrical Engineering or Computer Sciences• Knowledge of electronic design automation especially in the application to FPGA• Strong experience in C/C++ and scripting languages• Good communication skills

Benefits

The base pay for this role is between $23 to $53 per hour.
