Summary
Dolby Cloud Solutions team is seeking a software engineering intern, who is eager to explore the future
of cloud technology at Dolby. In this internship, you will have the opportunity to explore, research, and
prototype new distributed computing concepts in private and public clouds.
Responsibilities
infrastructure
Evaluate and benchmark existing technologies and services
Process, analyze and visualize logging data
Generate cost and performance models for distributed compute infrastructure
Optimize existing workflows, perform code reviews and write high quality code
Basic Qualifications
Hands-on experience in one or more of AWS, Google Cloud, Azure
Hands-on programming experience is required in one or more: Node.js, Golang, Rust, Python,
C++
Strong computer science fundamentals and problem-solving skills
Experience in designing experiments and statistical analysis
Desirable Qualifications
Practical experience in: Docker, Linux, Git
Practical experience using database technologies for application development

Eligibility
Working towards a master's degree or Ph.D. in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or a related
field; recent grads who are within 6 months of graduation are also eligible to apply. Must be available to
work full-time Monday-Friday for 3 months starting from May/June 2023.
Start date for the internship is as follows: (note this date is not flexible)
The San Francisco/Bay Area base hourly range for this internship position is $45-55/hr and can vary if outside of this location. Our hourly ranges are determined by role, level, and location. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training. Your recruiter can share more about the specific hourly range and perks and benefits for your location during the hiring process.
