Basic Function:
This is an onsite everyday position at 1141 Harbor Bay Pkwy, Alameda, CA 94502, USA.
Software/Firmware Development for New and Existing Ionization and Process Monitoring Equipment.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Develop and support C, C++, and C# Software/Firmware for embedded and desktop applications.
Develop, support, and maintain test fixtures, software, and calibration equipment built to Simco-Ion specifications.
Develop and/or interpret equipment specifications, complex drawings, and schematics.
Review board schematics to ensure proper functionality.
Troubleshoot firmware vs. electrical issues, hardware, and software, during PCBA development/testing.
Conduct product operational testing and control-loop behavior and performance utilizing data loggers, oscilloscopes, meters, etc.
Provide support to global service centers and factories in troubleshooting and resolving hardware/software and system problems.
Experience working in a lab environment.
Support the Company's continuous improvement initiatives, particularly as related to product quality.
Other duties as assigned.
