About This Opportunity

InComm Digital Solutions would like to add a Senior Software Engineer to our team. We're looking for innovative software professionals who can work well within a highly collaborative, agile team to develop high quality, testable software. Your primary responsibility will be to help drive delivery of third-party integrations as a senior member of an engineering team.

The ideal candidate for this position will have a wide breadth of experience performing development in a .NET environment and developing integrations to third-party systems. You will be sharp, motivated, hardworking, and well versed in development best practices, and will be experienced mentoring and leading others. As a senior member of our team, we'll look to you for guidance in domain modeling, platform design, and refactoring. Deep experience writing testable code (and the tests to go along with it is very important to us.


  • Develop .NET APIs, ASP.NET / ASP.NET MVC applications and AngularJS applications

  • Directly support internal and external customers and partners in integrating the IDS platform with external web services

  • Partner with various departments within the organization to understand business requirements, design, and develop solutions

  • Troubleshoot a variety of technical issues

  • Perform miscellaneous job-related duties as assigned

  • Willing to be flexible and work flexible hours when necessary to achieve company and individual goals, and must work effectively



  • Git or other DVCS

  • C# and the .NET Framework (v4.5)

  • ASP.NET (MVC 4.5, WebAPI 2.1)

  • Knowledge of data access technologies like ADO.NET or an ORM such as EF or Dapper

  • Experience with SQL server

  • Strong knowledge of data structures and algorithms

  • Strong familiarity with design patterns

  • Experience with unit testing and Test-Driven Development

  • Experience correcting performance bottlenecks and scaling a platform in a growing business

  • Willingness to dive into any challenge with a positive attitude; be a go-to resource for team members who need help

  • Solid coaching and communication skills

  • Expert-level debugging skills

  • Works well in both team and individual development environments

  • Experience with agile development practice


  • BS or MS in Computer Science or related field

  • Experience with writing client-side JavaScript applications with AngularJS or other frameworks

  • Experience in consuming third-party web services

  • Experience working in continuous integration and continuous delivery environments

  • Experience with AWS

Qualifications Required * BS degree in a field directly related to software development plus a minimum of 6 years of relevant technical experience in application design and programming. * Experience implementing enterprise SaaS/PaaS based solutions using Azure or AWS * Ability to code in a modern language (eg. C# or Java) using Object Oriented techniques. * Experience with Visual Studio (Preferably 2015-2019). * Experience with REST Web API and JSON. * Experience with Javascript SPA Frameworks. * Solid understanding of relational databases and ability to write basic queries * Experience utilizing unit testing and mocking frameworks such as MSTest, NUnit, Moq, Rhino Mocks, and similar tools Preferred * Experience implementing solutions using Object Relational Mapping tools such as EF or NHibernate. * Familiarity with Domain driven design * Experience with Agile Development methodologies. * Experience with Angular. * Experience with Agile tools such as VSTS and Azure Devops. * Knowledge of construction industry accounting or project management principles and practices.
