Overview BigBear.ai is seeking an experienced Software Engineer to support Maxwell Air Force Base-Gunter Annex in Montgomery, AL. Within the AFLCMC/HI Business and Enterprise Systems Directorate (BES), DevSecOps combines the best practices and methodologies of software development (Dev), cybersecurity (Sec), and information-technology operations (Ops) to continuously provide quality capability.

It enables CDTs to increase their deliveries' velocity, quality, security, and maintainability with reduced risk. Includes configuration/change management, software architecture, performance engineering, and continuous integration/continuous delivery (CI/CD) via automated: static code analysis (quality & security), testing (unit, functional, security, performance/load), application builds, and delivery/deployment. What you will do The successful candidate will perform work that applies a broad theoretical and practical knowledge of software/systems engineering to the acquisition process.

The individual shall be able to: Conduct reviews on program documentation to evaluate and recommend alternative plans, improve systems engineering programs and processes, manage and sustain program technical baseline, and design and perform system level tests to assure that subsystems and system performance is achieved in accordance with approved specifications Prepare technical documents which define, specify, and recommend system and subsystems characteristics Accomplish the task of migrating the Business and Enterprise Systems Operational Baseline Database (BOB-DB; configuration management database, aka CMDB) from Microsoft SharePoint to a modern, open standards, cloud-based platform Support validation efforts by working with the logistics community to identify issues. What you need to have Clearance: must possess and maintain an active Secret Clearance BA/BS degree with 8+ years of experience, or; Advanced Degree (MA/MS) with 6+ years of experience, or; PhD with 3+ years of experience 3+ years of experience developing software - specifically front-end web applications, with React, NodeJS, and REST APIs 3+ years of experience administering/working with PostgreSQL, or similar RDBMS Experience importing/exporting databases and data migration/conversion Experience maintaining Apache, NGINX web servers or equivalent Working knowledge of Microsoft SharePoint 2016 - specifically, Microsoft Lists Experience with Agile methodologies and tools, e.g.

Kanban, (Atlassian) Jira, Confluence, BitBucket.
