This role supports our residential sales teams by ensuring they have reliable access to the information they need to be successful in their roles. This includes ideating, developing, deploying and testing, and measuring the quality of Sales Knowledge Management and Communications Technology applications using a variety of tools, disciplines, and platforms to equip our sales teams. The creation, maintenance, and troubleshooting of sales facing tools/applications are all critical elements of this role.

Primary Responsibilities and Essential Functions
Develops, implements, integrates and maintains applications (Key, MainPage, The Scoop(CoxOne), Rancher Containers, Virtual Servers). Under general supervision, formulates and defines system scope and objectives through research and fact-finding to develop or modify moderately complex information systems and applications. Prepares detailed specifications from which programs will be written. Designs, codes, tests, debugs, documents and maintains those programs. Designs and constructs databases to ensure integrity, performance, accessibility, and recoverability of data. Establishes database definitions and tables; designs, codes, tests, and implements custom database scripts and formal procedures. May perform physical or logical data modeling. May also develop in the following areas: Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP), Mobile Solution Services (MSS), Product Development, and Sales.
Completes all technical development tasks pertaining to applications per approved projects and allocated budgets
Interfaces extensively with functional users to ideate and confirm the applicability of design alternatives, identifies and recommends cost effective options, and address user concerns;
Interfaces as necessary with all critical integration points to insure that applications are integrating successfully and efficiently with all requested applications;
Conducts necessary internal quality assurance, system testing, and load testing to ensure that the application is of high quality when released to users for the User Acceptance Testing phase of the project (manage all necessary migration of software code to/from the respective environments: development, quality assurance, training)
Works closely with end users and corporate sponsors during the User Acceptance Testing phase of the project to ensure that any and all necessary changes to the application can be accommodated to meet user requirements while also honoring timeline and budget restrictions;
Provides detailed deployment documentation to the support group to insure preparedness to deploy new releases into the production environment within the SLA windows
Designs, implements, and maintains databases with respect to access methods, access time, validation checks, and statistical methods;
Maps workflow and creates design specifications based on functional requirements;
Translates logical information model to efficient physical database and supporting software designs/patterns
Configures, analyzes, designs, develops, and maintains software patterns and applications to support business processes and functions; works on large, complex installations
Proactively monitors agent feedback tools and solicits feedback to ensure the content is accurate and meets the needs of our sales teams. Researches alternatives and proposes improvement recommendations to leadership for enhancements to communications and knowledge center tools.
Evaluates reusability of current data for additional analysis;
Reviews object and data models and the metadata repository to structure the data for better management and quicker access
Serves as an expert to application developers to provide expertise on database capabilities and constraints
Implements and maintains API Calls/Endpoints and ensures reliability and quality for these services
Requires agility and ability to adjust/adapt as tools and the business change
2 or more years of experience in Python Web development/API Creation and management
2 or more years of experience in HTML/CSS/JS development
2 or more years of experience in Linux System Administration
2 or more years of experience with Containerized system design, implementation, and maintinence (Docker/Kubernetes, Rancher/Openshift)
2 or more years of experience with MySQL/SQL server configuration and maintenance
Requires strong knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Sharepoint and HTML Adobe Creative Cloud, VS Code/Pycharm, Jenkins, Django, Git, SQL
Requires strong knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Sharepoint
2+ years of experience building and modifying SQL queries
Process and Testing driven/Documentation focused
Flexible/ability to work in an agile development environment
Proven ability to meet deadlines
Excellent interpersonal, peer leadership, presentation, collaboration skills and ability to work effectively with teams throughout the organization
BS/BA degree in related discipline strongly desired
Experience in telecommunications industry desired
Proven experience presenting & consulting with operational leadership
Experience with Adobe Analytics/Launch and other engagement measurement platforms is a plus
Experience with NodeJS or ReactJS is a plus
Recognized as a valued and respected subject matter expert in specific functional and/or technical area within the Technology industry (i.e., published articles in credible industry publications, holds patents, etc.)
Demonstrated ability to acts as a strategic visionary by developing long-term solutions (2 - 3 years out) that prove to be successful
Demonstrated ability to develop creative and innovative IT solutions
Demonstrated ability to leverage a cross functional view when developing strategies and applying solutions
Demonstrated ability to synthesize information quickly and make appropriate requisite decisions regarding resources and/or action
Actively participates and mentors in specific area of expertise by conducting ongoing research and attending conferences; may present ideas to peers in the field of expertise
