Software Engineer II, AIX

As a Software Engineer II you will play a pivotal role in designing, developing, and maintaining microservices in the Azure ecosystem. You will work alongside a highly skilled team of engineers and collaborate with various stakeholders to build scalable and reliable solutions that drive our business forward.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain .NET microservices in Azure, ensuring high availability and scalability.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand business requirements and translate them into technical specifications.
• Participate in the full software development lifecycle, from design and coding to testing and deployment.
• Write clean, maintainable, and efficient code while adhering to coding standards and best practices.
• Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues and bugs in a timely manner.
• Implement security best practices and maintain data integrity in microservices.
• Stay up-to-date with the latest industry trends and technologies, incorporating them into project strategies.
• Participate in code reviews and provide constructive feedback to improve code quality.
• Mentor junior developers and assist in their professional growth.
• Contribute to documentation and knowledge sharing within the team.

Requirements

• 3+ years of professional experience in software development with a focus on .NET and Azure.
• Proficiency in .NET technologies, including C#, ASP.NET, and .NET Core.
• Experience with Azure cloud services, including Azure Functions, Azure App Service, Azure Service Bus, and Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS).
• Strong knowledge of microservices architecture, RESTful API design, and containerization technologies (Docker).
• Familiarity with DevOps practices and CI/CD pipelines, preferably using Azure DevOps.
• Solid understanding of database systems, both SQL and NoSQL.
• Exceptional problem-solving skills and the ability to work effectively in a collaborative team environment.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Azure certifications (e.g., Azure Developer, Azure Solutions Architect) are a plus.

Education and Experience

Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field. A master’s degree is a plus.

Salary Range

Alphatec Spine, Inc. complies with state and federal wage and hour laws and compensation depends upon candidate’s qualifications, education, skill set, years of experience, and internal equity. $90,000 to $115,000 Full-Time Annual Salary
