Currently, GLI is seeking a SoftwareEngineer to work at our world headquarters in Lakewood, NJ to be responsiblefor the design, development, and deployment of internal and external softwaresystems and solutions.
The Information Technology division at GamingLaboratories International, LLC supports global IT processes ensuring thesecurity and valuable operation of IT functions. The Software Engineer solvestechnical issues, correcting deficiencies based on consultations with users andmanagement. This position provides endto end software development to design, test, and develop modifications tocurrent software infrastructures.
Duties &Responsibilities include, but not limited to:
Develop, code, test, and document newapplications and systems from team discussions and design specificationdocuments
Respond to support requests from end users oncustom software applications
Maintain and enhance in-house softwareapplications/databases and proprietary databases.
Participate in the design review process inorder to identify and close gaps between business requirements and design
Experience,Education, Skills and Credentials:
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, ComputerEngineering, or equivalent years of relevant programming experience may besubstituted for education
At least 2-5 years experience working withsoftware development on a modern platform, such as C#
Demonstrated proficiency with SQL programming isrequired
Experience with multiple programming languagesand technologies is highly desired. Our typical tech stack includes: C#,HTML/CSS/JS, SQL, Entity Framework, and some JS frameworks such as Vue.js.
Experience using development frameworks such asASP.NET MVC, .NET Core, Web API, Dependency Injection, and Unit Testing ispreferred
Experience using a Source Control system such asGit or Mercurial is required.
Excellent understanding of coding methods andbest practices
Able to work in a fast-paced, challenging, andconstantly changing environment
Must have strong oral and written communicationskills
Valid driver's license
Travel: Minimaldomestic travel required
