Dura is searching for a Software Engineer with experience in Advanced Driver Assist Systems (ADAS) and/or Autonomous vehicle development.
Job responsibilities of the Software Engineer include the following.
Determine software design, current and future, for active safety applications.
Establish software requirement for new application and define traceability to system requirements
Interface with a variety of teams including controls, core software, hardware, and perception
Develop software interfaces and components for active safety features
Integrate existing controls algorithms to application code
Implement different applications using model based engineering best practices.
Lead and participate in model reviews
Strong background in developing application code using model based engineering
B.S. in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, Computer Engineering or Electronics Engineering Technology with three to five years of application development experience.
Experience developing in C is mandatory, C++ is a plus.
Knowledge of industry features ranging from L0-L5 (SAEJ3016)
Knowledge of active safety sensors: Camera, Lidar, Radar, Ultra-Sonic
Experience using ANSYS SCADE, Matlab/Simulink, Rhapsody, Rational Team Concert
Experience developing software on automotive grade embedded targets
Knowledge of communication protocols: CAN, CANfd, FlexRay, Ethernet, and LIN
Understanding of safety critical software development (ISO-26262)
Superior communication skills and can present his/her ideas in a clear, concise manner
Unquestioned integrity and values that the organization can trust without reservation
Consensus builder with strong persuasion skills
A highly motivated team player who contributes to an atmosphere in which people collaboratively, enthusiastically and effectively produce results
A good listener with a strong sense of self
