Software Engineer IV-Integration
Duties and responsibilities:
Design and develop Enterprise Integration solutions in a mix of languages, predominantly Java
Successfully resolve and implement the requirements of end-users, applications support groups, and customers.
Must work as a self-starter, not only accomplishing assigned development tasks with a minimum of prepared documentation, but also identifying areas for improvement and combining these improvements into the product.

Required Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Information Systems, or other technical degree (Engineering, Math, Physics, etc.)
8+ years professional development experience in object oriented programming, Restful and SOAP services, and JSON and XML standards
Experience in UNIX, Linux and Windows operating systems
System integration/middleware experience
Experience in Enterprise Service Bus technologies
Software analysis, design, development, testing, maintenance and support of enterprise integration projects
Object Oriented Design and Development skills, including understanding of common design patterns.
Agile/Scrum process experience
Great team player
Preferred qualifications:
Systems Integration experience with major ERP systems (Lawson/Lawson Cloud, SAP, PeopleSoft, Meditech, PMM, Oracle Cloud, Workday)
Understanding of networking protocols and socket programming interfaces.
Client/server application development experience.
Web application programming experience.
Data transformation experience with 3rd party tools like Contivo or Smooks a plus.
SSL and encryption programming experience.
SQL experience a plus associated skills, training and technologies:
Java, C#
EDI in various formats like X12, cXML, xCBL, HL7
Linux, Windows, UNIX
Certificate-based authentication, cryptography
SQL Server, Oracle, Mongo, Redshift, Postgres

The Job: As one of the largest defense contractors in the world, Lockheed Martin is responsible for developing embedded systems platforms in many exciting domains including satellites and avionics. This Software Engineering position provides the opportunity to get involved on the ground floor of an exciting new program, supporting the design and development of new software and hardware components to be integrated into the future F-35 embedded systems. The ideal candidate for this position would have experience deploying and supporting applications on Linux platforms. Involvement in all phases of software development is required, i.e. development of software requirements and design documents, project plans, software coding, testing, and training customers on the use of the project. The selected candidate will also assume a role in developing and sustaining the Continuous Integration and Configuration management environment for the team. The selected candidate will also likely be involved in various embedded and Cyber Security related research and development projects.
