JOB TITLE: Software Engineer

LOCATION: Irving, TX

DUTIES: Design and build machine learning prototype backend and frontend systems that improve customer experience and enable innovative user experiences to increase store revenue.

Perform retail application frontend development building reusable libraries. Research, prototype, and develop software solutions to solve problems across retail environment. Stay up to date with emerging technology and learn new technologies, libraries, and frameworks.

Learn and partner with peers across multiple disciplines, such as computer vision, machine learning, and systems design. Deliver on time with a high bar on quality of research, innovation, and engineering. Responsible for frontend frameworks including React, Angular, or Vue.js and backend frameworks including Node.js or NestJS. Work with database design using SQL and noSQL; using cloud services including Virtual Machines, Serverless Functions and Blob Storage and building reusable components on frontend

REQUIREMENTS: Bachelor's or foreign equivalent degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical/Electronic Engineering, or a related field, and 3 years of experience in the job offered or as a Software Engineer, Software Developer, Computer Systems Engineer/Architect, or in a related/similar position. Experience therein to include 3 years performing retail application frontend development building reusable libraries; using frontend frameworks including React, Angular, or Vue.js; using backend frameworks including Node.js or NestJS; working with database design using SQL and noSQL; using cloud services including Virtual Machines, Serverless Functions and Blob Storage; building reusable components on frontend.
