Position Title

Software Engineer (.NET, AWS, Databases)

Summary

We are seeking an experienced and skilled Mid-Level Software Engineer to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining high-quality software solutions using .NET technologies and leveraging cloud services on AWS.

Job Duties

• Design, develop, and maintain software applications using .NET Core, .NET Framework, and C#.

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements, understand business needs, and translate them into technical solutions.

• Implement and integrate with relational databases such as PostgreSQL and Microsoft SQL Server.

• Leverage AWS services like S3, SNS, Lambda, EC2, and ECS to build scalable and reliable applications.

• Containerize applications using Docker for consistent deployment across environments.

• Write clean, maintainable, and well-documented code following best practices and coding standards.

• Participate in code reviews and ensure adherence to quality standards

• Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues, bugs, and performance bottlenecks.

• Stay up to date with the latest trends, technologies, and industry best practices.

What You Bring

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.

• 5+ years of experience in software development using .NET Core, .NET Framework, and C#.

• Proficient in relational databases like PostgreSQL and Microsoft SQL Server.

• Hands-on experience with AWS services such as S3, SNS, Lambda, EC2, ECS, etc.

• Hands on experience with building and consuming REST APIs.

• Experience working with Docker and containerization practices

• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.

• Excellent communication and collaboration abilities.

• Commitment to writing clean, maintainable, and well-documented code.

• Experience with Agile methodologies and DevOps practices.

• Experience with microservices and building highly scalable applications is a plus.

• Experience working with NoSQL databases like Mongo, Dynamo, DocumentDB is a plus.

This role is based in Los Angeles, California and the base pay range for this role is $130,000 - $150,000 annually. Actual amounts will vary depending on education, skills, experience, and geographic location.
