Software Engineer, Database Service Team

Tesla is seeking a highly skilled and motivated Machine Learning Engineer to join our innovative Generative AI team. In this role, you will have the opportunity to work on cutting-edge multi-modal models that integrate and interpret complex data across various domains. Your contributions will play a crucial role in advancing Tesla's mission to accelerate the world's transition to sustainable energy.

• Design, develop, and deploy advanced machine learning algorithms, particularly in generative models and multi-modal systems.

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate AI solutions into Tesla's ecosystem.

• Conduct research and implement novel AI techniques to solve complex problems.

• Mentor and guide junior engineers and researchers.

• Stay abreast of the latest developments in AI and machine learning research.

• Master's or PhD in Computer Science, Artificial Intelligence, Machine Learning, or related field.

• Minimum of 5 years of experience in machine learning, with a focus on generative models and multi-modal AI.

• Proficiency in programming languages such as Python, C++, or Java.

• Experience with deep learning frameworks like TensorFlow, PyTorch, or Keras.

• Strong background in mathematics, statistics, and algorithm design.

• Proven track record of developing and deploying machine learning models in production environments

Preferred:

• Experience with large-scale machine learning projects and cloud computing platforms (e.g., AWS, GCP, Azure).

• Publications in top-tier AI/ML conferences and journals.

• Familiarity with autonomous systems, robotics, machine vision, or related fields.

• Exceptional problem-solving, curiosity, and analytical skills.
