Job Description

POSITION PURPOSE

To develop next generation embedded computer vision systems that will increase supply chain efficiencies and be deployed at Corporate facilities around the world.

SCOPE

Global role

MAJOR / KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES

• Develop and maintain embedded software system components for processing various data on the edge

• Research and evaluate different algorithm options

• Perform code optimization and code refactoring

• Multi-threaded and parallel processing

• Participate in testing and debugging

CHALLENGES / PROBLEM SOLVING

• Collaboration with dispersed team

AUTHORITY / DECISION MAKING

• Suggesting and implementing technical solutions

• Giving timelines for project deliverables

• Select and build efficient algorithms

KEY CONTACTS

• Firmware Engineer, Solution Architect, System Test Engineer

QUALIFICATIONS

• Bachelor degree in Computer Science or equivalent

• Experience in NVIDIA CUDA

• Proficient in C/C++ including STL

• Hands-on experience with multi-threaded and parallel processing

Desirable Qualifications:

• Experience with NVIDIA Jetson

• Experience with NVIDIA DeepStream

• Knowledge of OpenCV, OpenMP

• Experience with AWS

• Hands-on experience with computer vision systems

EXPERIENCE

• Experience in NVIDIA CUDA
• Proficient in C/C++ including STL
• Experience working with Git, JIRA, Bitbucket
