Intelligrated is hiring for the 2019 Co-op! The Project Engineering Software Co-op will provide software engineering expertise on assigned conveyor system projects. This position will learn to take responsibility for the timely execution, as well as the technical quality and functionality of the software design and implementation of assigned systems and subsystems by following technical specifications and design guidelines. If you are a sharp, energetic, software engineer co-op, this is the role for you!

  • High School Diploma

  • Pursuing a Bachelors Degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering or BSEE


  • Comfortable working with a variety of SW packages

  • Some knowledge of software development techniques and SQL server database development


  • Basic working knowledge of JAVA , C, C++, .net

  • Basic knowledge of Microsoft Windows architecture, Microsoft Visual Studio tools and languages, and UNIX style operating systems

  • Team working ability

  • Good communication skills verbal and written

  • Some experience in engineering

VIEW JOBS 11/13/2018 12:00:00 AM 2019-02-11T00:00 Overview The Software Quality Assurance Security Test Engineer will work with teams of dedicated product development professionals to produce high quality, secure software in a collaborative environment. This position is part of the test automation team and acts as the point of contact for release teams to analyze sprint work for security impact and as a liaison for enterprise information security efforts. This will require use of a variety of technical and analytical tools to evaluate the security of our systems and data. The ideal candidate will have a combination of testing, development and networking skills with a passion for security, quality, and innovation. Preferred candidate will have two or more years of solid technical experience, but candidates of all experience levels may be considered. This position is located in the Mason office and reports to the QA Manager. Responsibilities * Support and maintain a process to conduct security testing for web applications and services across the organization * Investigate, evaluate, develop, and utilize new tools and techniques to expedite and enhance security testing and incorporate it into the software develop lifecycle * Recognize and eliminate constraints that hinder developers and test analysts from delivering high-quality, secure software * Educate cross-functional teams (DevOps, Architects, Developers, QA) in security testing activities and best practices across the organization * Assist in test automation development and other technical testing efforts * Contribute to release testing efforts Qualifications * Computer Science degree or related analytical and technical experience * Experience conducting Web applications security testing, including the OWASP testing guide * Experience analysis techniques like threat modeling for complex systems * Experience with security testing tools and scanners (Burp Suite) * Experience with Windows environments and Active Directory concepts * Proficient coding skills in one or more Object Oriented programming languages: C#, C++, Java * Experience with Continuous Integration and Continuous Delivery concepts and tools (TeamCity) * Knowledge of the Agile Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC) * Strong analytical and problem solving skills * Curious, observant, innovative, intuitive, motivated, and detailed oriented * Excellent time management, scheduling, and organizational skills * Ability to manage tasks and work effectively in a fast-paced environment * Ability to work independently and as a contributing team member * Must be flexible to meet teams goals * Strong communication and interpersonal skills At Assurex the physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.
