The Software Engineer position provides individuals an opportunity to apply their skills in a dynamic work environment while developing well-rounded competencies in companys products and services. As a member of companys Product Development team, the Software Engineer will be developing front end web pages and behind-the-scenes database. The position exposes individuals to the complete Software Development Life Cycle.
Develop and design web pages
Develop and design database objects, such as tables, stored procedures, functions, etc.
Write processes and queries to import and export data at fixed frequencies and per request
Be able to visit and have calls with clients in order to gather requirements and gain understanding of development requests
Research and develop new ways to improve existing functionality
Proactively analyze and bring forth ideas for continuous improvement
Support and participate in the organizations Continual Improvement Program to conform to ISO 9001 requirements by complying with the Quality Policy and procedures and meeting QMS objectives
All employees have a professional duty to provide any information related to security issues, incidents or situations that present a potential security risk to the ISO Team, company Management or their Supervisor
Other tasks and projects as directed by supervisor
Bachelors degree in Computer Science or related field from an accredited university and/or equivalent work experience
VB.Net and/or C# Minimum 3 years
jQuery Minimum of 1 year
Database Development using T-SQL; writing complex queries, stored procedures and functions - Minimum experience of 3 years
Knowledge of MVC a plus
Capability to lead projects, as well as be able to work in a team environment
Ability to manage multiple projects
