Job Description:

CACI is seeking a Software Engineer to support our JDISS customer in the MD/DC/VA area. Provide hands on technical engineering expertise and development of services, systems and interfaces in coordination with government and other engineers to ensure system requirements are met as each subsystem is identified, developed, integrated and validated. Must be able to work in a changing environment and interact with multiple contractors, vendors and government personnel..

Required Experience:

  • TOP/SECRET SCI- Active access

  • BS Degree Engineering or Computer Science

  • Experience working in RedHat Linux and Windows environments for development using multiple development tools (open source and COTS)

  • Hands on software development using JAVA, Node, Angular, SQL, multiple scripting languages (Python,PHP, JavaScript) to build multi-tiered applications using microservices

  • Hands on experience with multiple database implementations and building of Views, Queries for data ingest, retrieval, reporting with PostGreSQL, Oracle, SQL Server, MongoDB and others

  • Experience in generating all system documentation to support the body of evidence required for ATO.

  • Three years' experience that demonstrates ability to identify, document and understand software development system requirements (interfacing systems, applicable security requirements, etc) and build software and systems to meet the specifications

Desired Experience:

  • Hands on experience Agile software development, SCRUM Experience in DevOPS tools Atlassian, Jenkins, Maven, GiT

  • Experience in DevOPS tools Atlassian, Jenkins, Maven, GiT

  • Experience in multiple Operating Systems and Virtual implementations of the environments

  • Experience in DevSecOps and Continuous Deployment and Delivery Pipeline implementations and automation to deliver code updates

  • Experience creating and maintaining software and systems engineering plans, development plans, UML, and DoDAF artificats for formal deliverables

  • Experience in deploying and building applications to leverage cloud platforms AWS , GovCloud, etc

VIEW JOBS 1/24/2020 12:00:00 AM 2020-04-23T00:00 Description ASRC Federal System Solutions (AFSS), a subsidiary of ASRC Federal Holding Company, is currently seeking a Flight Software (FSW) Operations Engineer to join our mission operations support team in Suitland, MD. AFSS provides engineering expertise that includes system definition requirements development, integration, testing, commissioning and maintenance. ASRC Federal Systems Solutions (AFSS) provides engineering expertise that includes system definition requirements development, integration, testing, commissioning and maintenance for a joint NASA/NOAA program. Roles/Responsibilities: The FSW Validation Engineer shall provide satellite health and safety monitoring, engineering evaluations/analyses, problem resolution, development of on-orbit test sequences and methodologies, engineering telemetry gathering and analyses, engineering data trending, document preparation/review, and attendance at meetings and reviews. Support anomaly resolutions; development and review of operations procedures, on-orbit data analysis, and development of post-launch test documentation. As a member of Mission Operation Support Team (MOST), the FSW Validation Engineer will focus on operational aspects of validation of the mission. This includes launch support, pre-launch and post launch testing of spacecraft subsystems as it relates to validation of FSW, Command & Telemetry databases and spacecraft's Fault Management. Perform on-console support for all launch, orbit rising, and special operations activities. Duties also include: generation of procedures to be run against spacecraft simulators (HWIL, SWIL), development of Command Procedures, Telemetry Display Pages and Real-time plots; Development and maintenance of test and on-orbit scripts; performing spacecraft Telemetry and Command Database Validation. Please note that this is not a FSW developer position. This FSW Operations team is focused on the Operational aspects of the Spacecraft's FSW subsystem, not the FSW source code or FSW algorithms. However, intermediate programming skills are required for developing command procedures and for data processing tasks as needed. Work Environment: * Shift work during pre-launch rehearsals, launch & early orbit raising and on-orbit testing. * Occasional off hours to support anomaly events or scheduled rehearsals. * Desk work and some travel (under 10%). * Must be a US citizen with ability to pass a Government background investigation.
