Software Engineer (Backend, Python, Aws)

Gryps is seeking a talented Software Engineer to help design, develop, and improve our "Intelligence Platform". In this vital role, you will work with a small team and play a key part in automating data and document ingestion across diverse construction-related systems.

Our ideal candidate is someone who embraces challenges, is adaptable, and is committed to delivering excellence in SaaS software development, whether addressing development, security, or operations issues.

Responsibilities

• Leveraging your expertise to analyze data, build APIs, and create search tools.

• Troubleshooting and supporting existing data ingestion and processing to ensure seamless operation and customer satisfaction.

• Enhancing and expanding existing microservices, aligning them with the overarching product vision.

• Collaborating closely with cross-functional teams, actively participating in brainstorming and planning sessions.

Qualifications

• A bachelor's degree in Computer Science, a related field, or equivalent work experience.

• A minimum of 2 years of professional Software Engineering experience, with a proven history of impactful contributions.

• Proficiency in Python, demonstrating an in-depth understanding of industry best practices and coding standards.

• Proficiency in AWS services including Lambda, Step Functions, S3, and DynamoDB.

• Expertise in data analytics tools including Pandas.

• Proficiency in artificial intelligence concepts and tools.

• Outstanding communication and skills, empowering you to collaborate effectively with team members and grow inside the team.

Great to have

• Understanding of graph databases (Neptune) and data-intensive search technologies (Elasticsearch/OpenSearch).

• Prior experience working with Microservices Architectures.

• Prior experience with a startup or a desire to fully embrace startup culture.
