Our favorite projects fuse design and technology to solve problems for our clients. As an engineer at Smashing Boxes, you will work as part of a small, multi-disciplinary team to brainstorm and build compelling experiences for the web. Working in Rails, your efforts will help advance how our clients use technology to improve their businesses or bring to life something entirely new.

Your typical week might include:

  • Planning new features
  • Writing code and unit tests
  • Reviewing others code or pair programming
  • Steering technical direction of projects
  • Having someone give you a shout out for doing great work

Requirements

We have a few core requirements, they are:

  • 3 - 5 years relevant work experience
  • 2 years dedicated experience with Ruby on Rails
  • Locally based or willing to relocate - in house position

  • Writing quality code with test coverage
  • Communicating and working in a close-knit team
  • Integrating with 3rd Party APIs
  • Having familiarity with Github and agile processes
  • Staying curious, constantly learning, bringing new ideas

Duties * Plan,provide and document professional nursing care in ambulatory settings, utilizing the nursing process, in accordance with physician orders and established policies and procedures, under the supervision of the nurse manager, charge nurse or practice manager. * Delegate tasks to UAP. * Assist other nursing personnel in the delivery of patient care and serve as a team leader. * Participate in clinic or entity level performance improvement activities. * Support the development of other staff and formal learners. Participate in the identification of clinical, operational and safety related performance improvement opportunities. * Collect and analyze patient data, make recommendations for nursing care plans,evaluate nursing care provided, document and communicate appropriately nursing actions taken and patient responses. * Participate in own professional development by maintaining required competencies, identifying learning needs and seeking appropriate assistance or educational offerings. * Prepare for daily clinic needs. * Triage phone calls KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES * Knowledge of scope of the registered nurse, licensed practical nurse and allun licensed assistive personnel. EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS/ PREFERENCES Twelve months of appropriate clinical experience is required. At a manager's discretion, employees with 6 months of experience who are exceptional performers may be eligible for this level. LICENSURE/ CERTIFICATION REQUIREMENTS Must have current or compact RN licensure in the state of North Carolina. BLS required. Must be able to work under time pressures in a busy clinic/office environment. Must be present on site for 8 hour shifts during standard business hours. Must participate in group activities requiring interpersonal skills &cooperation.
