Coloplast is looking for a Software Engineer to join our growing Interventional Urology team. We are looking for someone who will be able to:
Experienced Implantable Device Programmer Software Engineer
Experience related to functions and tasks required to architect and develop software for an active implantable medical device
Defines requirements, specifications and implements software UI that communicate with implanted medical products
Recommends and set up of software development platforms
Documents system requirements by writing documents, reports, memos, change requests. Methods used are determined by approved procedures and standards
Responsible for analyzing, designing, programming, debugging, and modification of software applications
Analyzes and performs software system testing (i.e. validation, verification)
Assists Project Manager and the team in planning project tasks and schedule
Assists in resource planning, including definition of responsibilities of external contract resources
Actively participates in key system design decisions
Co-ordinates activities with other engineers to minimize development time and effort
Establish a foundation for future platform work involving external programming systems
Conform with Coloplast Code of Conduct and all local Compliance Standards
Conform with Coloplast Q/EHS Policy
Other duties as assigned
Basic Qualifications
BSCSCI, Software Engineering and 3-5 years experience in medical industry
Experience/knowledge associated with the processes associated with implantable medical device programmer system
Product design experience from concept to manufacturing in a regulated medical device product development environment
Android platform experience
Experience with Bluetooth communication systems preferred
