2HB Incorporated is seeking a Software Engineer in order to support its government customer in Annapolis Junction. The Software Engineer shall be responsible for software development activities for a service that automates corporate data compliance requirements for the Y3322 HPC organization.SWE-3 Qualifications:- Masters degree in Computer Science or related discipline from an accredited college or university, plus five (5) years of experience as a SWE, in programs and contracts of similar scope, type, and complexity.
- Bachelors degree in Computer Science or related discipline from an accredited college or university, plus seven (7) years of experience as a SWE, in programs and contracts of similar scope, type, and complexity
- Nine (9) years of experience as a SWE, in programs and contracts of similar scope, type, and complexity.
- Experience using the Linux CLI
- Experience with creating/modifying scripts using Bash/Python
- Experience developing with Java in a Linux environment
- Experience with designing and developing multi-threaded and distributed applications
- Experience with Corporate data security and compliance procedures and policies
- Experience performing benchmarking and system testing in a Linux environment
- Experience with IaC (Infrastructure as Code) concepts, principles and automation tools such as Ansible
- Experience with CI/CD concepts, principles, and best practices using tools such as GitLab CI
- Experience with containerization technologies such as Docker
- Experience with the Atlassian Tool Suite (JIRA, Confluence)
- Experience with Git Version Control System
- Experience with Message Broker technologies such as Pulsar, Kafka, or RabbitMQ
