Write great code and collaborate with the team on everyone elses great code Gather technical requirements early and take ownership of your work even after it reaches customers Actively grow your own skills and learn from others on the team Work closely and efficiently with technical AND non-technical teams at Intuit Present/demo work in front of your peers and other stakeholders Own the quality of the work you do, from writing unit tests to functional automation testing Look beyond the work that is given to you and seek opportunities to leave stuff better than you found it Qualifications 2+ years professional experience developing web, software, or mobile applications Proficient in modern JavaScript and/or Typescript with very strong professional experience with ReactJS or other modern JS frameworks High familiarity with the normal tools that come with modern front-end development (e.g. npm, browser dev tools, testing frameworks, etc.) Familiarity with modern JavaScript build technology (e.g. webpack, ES6 modules, tree shaking) Experience with build and deploy systems (e.g. Jenkins, etc.) Passion for building amazing user experiences while maintaining high quality Experience building a product with multiple technical dependents Experience in the entire Software Development Life Cycle (not just coding) Solid communication skills Demonstrated ability to explain complex technical issues to both technical and non-technical audiences Able to work in a Scrum/Kanban environment, and to shift quickly when priorities change All around awesome person everyone likes to work with Bonus Qualifications Experience developing, maintaining, and innovating very large scale, consumer facing web or mobile applications Active in the open source community with front end projects Familiarity with Java and related technologies

Position Purpose: Responsible for building front end website experiences that optimize the customer shopping experience and drive improvements in conversion, revenue, engagement, and other success metrics. In partnership with the wider optimization team, product team, and UX designers, this role will use customer insights and analytics data to inform the design, execution, testing, and implementation of new site experiences. The ideal candidate for this position will have experience with front end web development in an ecommerce environment, as well as familiarity with A/B testing and personalization platforms. This role will also serve as a liaison between the optimization team and the broader IT organization, including product development, site performance, and QA teams, to drive collaboration and partnership on optimization activities. Essential Job Functions: The incumbent must be able to perform all of the following duties and responsibilities with or without a reasonable accommodation. * Develops experiences that drive growth in key performance metrics across the website using HTML, CSS, JQuery, and JavaScript. * Performs QA across browsers and devices to ensure all optimization experiences function in all supported environments. * Collaborates with cross-functional partners in the IT organization to ensure effective communication, develop experiences that can be efficiently translated from testing in the optimization platform to production, and understand and optimize impact of testing activities to site speed and performance * Leverages experience, best practices, competitive research, and customer insights to develop hypotheses for testing new functionality or improvements to existing functionality on the website. * Scopes projects to estimate level of effort, plan and prioritize work to deliver projects on time in a fast-paced, results-driven environment. * Acts as a relentless customer advocate with an undeterred focus on delivering a world-class online experience across devices and customer touchpoints. * Interacts professionally and effectively through verbal and written communication with all professional contacts with emphasis on company interests. Communicates technical information effectively to non-technical audiences. * Performs other related duties, tasks and responsibilities as required, assigned and directed. Work Environment: Operates in a standard office environment. The majority of job duties are performed while seated indoors with little or no exposure to hazards. Day and overnight domestic travel to vendors, seminars and/or conferences may be required periodically throughout the year. Education and Experience: Normally requires a bachelor's degree or equivalent experience. Requires a minimum of two years front-end web development experience, preferably in an ecommerce environment.
