Tax Equalization is a process in which the Department ensures uniformity and fairness in property taxation through its oversight of the appraisal work of local County Auditors.Auditors routinely conduct a full reappraisal of real property. This information is needed for the Tax Equalization System (TE). The TE system is used internally. It is JAVA based with a DB2 Backend & MS SQL Server , running on WebSphere.This position will work with the Application Development, Support, Infrastructure, and Production Systems teams in order to meet the agency's needs to support the business community directly and the Ohio Counties indirectly. General duties for the position include:*
  • Day to day support of the TE System.
