What you'll need:

Passion for writing software and learning the latest software development techniques.

A solid foundation in computer science, with competencies in data structures, algorithms, and object-oriented software design.

Some experience in one or more of Python, Go, Java, C/C++/C#, Dart or Javascript.

Additional exposure to client frameworks like React or Angular, Google App Engine, Amazon EC2, database design, knowledge of HTTP and web protocols are a plus.

What you'll do:

Work under the direction of a senior developer implementing developer tools or product features - gaining increasing responsibilities as you demonstrate your abilities.

Use our internal tools to track job assignments and complete status updates.

Work with a small team in an Agile development methodology, attending standups, defining user stories, implementing development tasks, completing code reviews and unit tests, and change people's lives!!

Software Development and Reliability Engineer. The mission of the engineer is to write code, complete programming and perform testing and debugging of applications. Design, write, and deploy software to improve the availability, scalability, and efficiency of Oracle services. Essential Duties and Responsibilities * Work with teams of Developers and other QA Engineers to test Oracle's Fusion Service products using automated testing methodologies. * Develop, execute and maintain tests for product features by designing and coding custom test harnesses while leveraging open source test suites like NUnit, Junit, Selenium and Cucumber. * Solve complex problems related to cloud services and build automation to prevent problem recurrence. * Analyze software defects to ascertain source and nature of defects. * Write clear and reproducible software defect incident reports. * Communicate effectively with other members of the QA team, the development team, other departments and managers. * Proficient with .Net, MS Visual Studio and/or JDK Java IDE (Intellij) * Other duties, as assigned by management.
