The System Architecture & Pro Workflow teams depend on the software tools, workload automation and infrastructure support of the team in order to improve Apple products and technologies across Mac, iPhone and iPad and we are seeking a Manager for the team.

Description

We are seeking a self-motivated individual with strong technical, communication, and project management skills to handle key responsibilities including but not limited to;

• Defining and delivering system architecture tools and features, resource planning and development schedules.

• Defining and delivering IT services across three physical sites in the West Coast supporting two different groups.

• Advise and encourage engineering best practices to deliver quality capabilities.

• Define and grow a diverse and an extraordinary Engineering Team.

Minimum Qualifications

• Proven record as a Software Engineering Manager for at least 5 years of leading a team including System Admin, Systems engineers and DevOps Engineers.

• Ability to lead multiple projects under driven time constraints to achieve meaningful results.

• Ability to mentor and develop your team, lead with software and engineering excellence and maintain a dedication towards meeting the needs.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in development and deployment of software tools supporting internal groups.

• Experience with server room administration, provisioning, and service vendor management.

• Proficiency and passion to independently learn new technologies and SW frameworks to leverage.

• Experience with automation frameworks and CI/CD systems.

• Experience with system architecture, performance, and modeling tools.

• Experience leading services across multiple physical sites is a plus.
