AbleTo Sr. Software Quality Engineers are engineers; they develop code. They are dedicated to ensuring we get it right the first time by driving quality automation throughout our SDLC and participating as a peer engineer within our Lean-Agile product engineering group. Responsibilities include requirement analysis using advanced behavior driven development (BDD) techniques, defining test strategies, test planning and execution activities, test automation, authoring and reviewing product documentation, and ensuring overall product quality including usability, performance, and stability. Quality Engineers must be able to prioritize responsibilities and work with their Agile teammates to streamline, integrate, and continuously improve the effectiveness of our software quality development lifecycle.
Define detailed BDD acceptance criteria and test scenarios in order to align key business capabilities and features with customer value streams.
Lead the creation of automated test assets and coordinate test environment usage with other teams as necessary.
Define test strategy, implement & execute automated test cases, and analyze test outputs to ensure verification & validation of components to maximize product quality.
Report software defects and collaborate with peer engineers to ensure they are fixed and thoroughly tested.
Perform and/or lead other team members in all forms of product testing including test case creation and execution, exploratory testing, system integration, usability, regression and performance testing.
Analyze test coverage for existing and new tests regularly, incorporate feedback from defects and escalations into regression suites.
Develop, maintain and closely partner with peer engineers and coordinate the automation strategy for the application using BDD techniques.
Participate in release and iteration kickoffs, retrospectives, daily stand-ups, and other team meetings as necessary for the agile team.
Review and/or suggest improvements to product documentation to ensure accuracy, completeness and consistency during iterations and/or at release time.
Collaborate with product manager and development team to facilitate successful delivery of quality products to our customers.
Drive continuous improvement of testing and development practices to make the team more efficient, deliver higher quality products, and ship on time.

Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science or related technical field (or equivalent).
7+ years of automated software testing working with software testing tools, and automated web service, web application and mobile testing techniques.
5+ years testing RESTful APIs and HTML5 single-page web applications.
5+ years working within advanced Agile Scrum and Kanban quality processes.
3+ years of experience in an SDET role
3+ years working with advanced CI/CD automation techniques and tools.
3+ years working with and validating results using SQL.
Experience testing mobile applications a plus
Strong technical knowledge of Linux (Ubuntu) and Cloud (Google) infrastructure configurations and operations.
Proven ability to build and maintain strong, productive working relationships with internal stakeholders and external customers.
Ability to exercise sound judgment, discretion, and timeliness in decision making.
Clinical/Healthcare regulated product and technology background.
Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
