Do you enjoy shopping on Amazon but think it could be easier? So do we!
Right for Me (R4M) builds experiences on Amazon.com to help customers find the exact product they want. We use data and machine learning and build scalable services to determine what product characteristics are most important to customers, and recommend products with high value-for-price.
We raise the bar on current product substitution algorithms and work across multiple platforms that support Amazon's retail website and business. Millions of customers around the world use our products every day!
We want you to lead conceptualization, design, and development as we learn more about our customers' behavior and find ways to give them the products that they want. You will guide, teach, and learn from the team and drive engineering best practices.
We are a respectful, inclusive, collaborative team where every voice is heard. Everyone's ideas change the course of our products.
Our first product, Save or Upgrade (SoU) can be found here: https://www.amazon.com/dp/B07B5FR99H and on numerous other TV's, computer monitors, grills, and other products globally.
Q: Tell me about your team?
Right for Me is a small, scrappy startup with a highly experimental culture, frequently tweaking our process, product, and roadmap. We collaborate to solve problems and emerge with the best possible solutions.
We encourage, support, and teach one another. We value questions and respectful disagreement. Work/life balance is highly valued, and periodic working from home is common.
Q: Who are your customers?
Our customers are those who visit Amazon with some idea what they're looking for, but haven't yet decided on a specific product. We earn customer trust and delight them by guiding them to products they'll love. We also have internal customers who use our internal tooling to onboard their products to Save or Upgrade.
