A Multi-Billion-dollar insurance company is looking to add a Java Software Development Engineer to their growing team, in a fully remote setting! They have grown significantly in the last two years, acquiring different insurance firms throughout the country. The main project that you will be working on known as Enterprise One Platform, will help aggregate all the data from the recently acquired companies.

They are looking to add an experienced Engineer to their team who has a strong knowledge of building microservices from the ground up, using Java technologies, as well as a background in any JavaScript framework. This role will be collaborating with others in the division to provide and maintain applications to meet business needs. Responsible for software design and development for complex and/or large-scale business solutions, providing technical guidance and leadership for specific applications.

Required Skills & Experience

  • 2+ years of professional experience (Java/JEE technologies preferred)

  • Comfortability building Microservices from scratch

  • Experience working with JavaScript

  • Springboot/Spring framework experience

  • Hands-on cloud experience is a plus

Responsibilities Be part of a team where you will have autonomy to design and develop technological advances. You'll work in a very agile and collaborative environment establishing advanced methods, theories and research techniques that support the technical vision and strategy of Entegral. We'll look to you as a subject matter expert in multiple areas of technology that will represent your team in a positive manner. You'll provide viable recommendations for new solutions and lead their implementation, ensure team commitments are established and met, and provide instruction and guidance to less senior team members on new tasks and assignments. Daily activities include collaborating with Architects and recommending adjustments to the architecture, improving overall product quality and integration efficiencies.
