Software Development Engineer

The Software Development Engineer supports the Correspondence and Content Management teams, working to augment the front-line production support team that manages incoming issues/requests from our clients.

Additional responsibilities will be to produce print reconciliation reports for one or more clients daily and resolve out of balances within 3 days. What you will do: • Respond directly to incoming system issues & requests from our clients. • Work directly with the application development team on issues requiring their involvement. • Execute daily check lists of items that require manual monitoring. • Track incoming issues / requests and identify those which are re-occurring and help drive short-term and long-term solutions. • Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to investigate and resolve any client discrepancies related to financial transactions, data, or accounts. What you will need to have: • Per contractual obligations, must be a US citizen with the ability to obtain and maintain a qualified United States Government security clearance (e.g., US DOD Secret). • Bachelor’s or College Degree in Computer Science, Education, Technical, Information Systems, Engineering or Information Technology. • 2 years querying databases in SQL. • 1 years of scripting languages, including HTML • 1 years working with relational databases and open operating systems.
