POSITION SUMMARY:Our Redmond-based client is looking for a Software Development Engineer for a remote based position. We are seeking a Software Engineer with a strong background in cloud services and infrastructure, who is passionate about security, automation, scalability, and reliability. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with Azure DevOps Pipelines, Kubernetes, Azure cloud services, and infrastructure as code using Terraform.

Responsibilities

• Implement and maintain security best practices to ensure the integrity and protection of cloud-based applications and infrastructure.

• Design, build, and maintain Azure DevOps Pipelines for continuous integration and continuous deployment (CI/CD) workflows.

• Deploy and manage containerized applications using Kubernetes on Azure.

• Provision and manage Azure cloud resources using Terraform scripts.

• Monitor and optimize the performance, cost, and security of cloud-based applications and infrastructure

Qualifications

• Must have 8-10 years of experience, preferably in a gaming or cloud services environment.

• Must have experience with Azure DevOps, Kubernetes, Azure, and Terraform.

• Should have demonstrated capability of building/ writing helm chart, Kubernetes experience

• Must have 2-3 years' experience with writing terraform

• Must have 2-3 years' experience with Azure

• Should have strong understanding of cloud-native technologies and microservices architecture.

• Experience with scripting languages such as PowerShell or Bash.

• Familiarity with Git.

• Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.Must have bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent work experience.

• A competitive pay range of $68/hr- $70/hr (depending on experience).

• 15 days per year of Paid Time Off (PTO).
