As a Software Development Engineer working on the developer experience for Luna, you will get to combine your passion for gaming, AWS, and building great developer experiences.
The team you will be joining is responsible for a wide variety of services, websites, and tools that leverage the latest technologies and languages including: ECS, Fargate, Lambda, CDK, Docker, React, Kotlin, TypeScript, C++, and more. The ideal candidate will have a good mix of distributed systems in AWS, web services design, and experience building client-side tools. You should also be customer-centric and have a passion to invent and simplify for our customers.
As a Software Development Engineer, you will have help influence our overall strategy by refining these product features, drive the system architecture, and contribute to best practices that enable a quality product. To be successful, you need to be flexible and entrepreneurial, comfortable operating with ambiguity, data-driven, and able to develop prototypes quickly.

2+ years of non-internship professional software development experience
Programming experience with at least one modern language such as Java, C++, or C# including object-oriented design
1+ years of experience contributing to the architecture and design (architecture, design patterns, reliability and scaling) of new and current systems.
Experience developing RESTful services and websites on AWS
Practical open source experience, creating and managing code on GitHub
Excellence in technical communications with both technical and non-technical peers
Highly innovative, self-directed and able to deal well with ambiguous problems
Passion for creating frameworks and tools for others
