Software Developer

Quattro Consulting is seeking Software Developers for a potential contract within the Department of Defense (DoD). This role will require you to collaborate with a team of developers and stakeholders to analyze requirements, design, develop, test, and deploy software applications. You will be involved in the entire software development life cycle, from concept and design to testing and maintenance. We are looking for someone who is passionate about coding and has a strong understanding of software development principles.

Responsibilities may include, but are not limited to:

• Develop, test, and maintain software applications according to specifications and established coding standards.
• Collaborate with stakeholders, business analysts, and other developers to gather and understand requirements.
• Participate in the design and architecture of software solutions.
• Write clean, efficient, and maintainable code using industry best practices.
• Conduct unit testing and debugging of software applications.
• Collaborate with team members to troubleshoot and resolve software defects.
• Stay up to date with emerging technologies and industry trends to continuously improve software development processes.

Multiple positions may be hired from this announcement. This position is contingent on contract award.

Work Environment:

• Moderate noise (i.e. business office with computers, phone and printers) and /or occasional Loud noise (airfield, large equipment).

• Ability to sit at a computer terminal for an extended period of time.

Physical Demands:

• While performing the responsibilities of the job, the employee is required to sit, stand, talk, and hear.
• Employee is often required to sit and use their hands and fingers to operate a computer.

Requirements

Basic Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree
• Must have the ability to obtain and maintain a Secret Clearance. (Eligible to pass Federal security clearance process. Please visit the link for FAQs: https://www.dcsa.mil/mc/pv/mbi/gicp/).
• Proven experience in software development, including designing, coding, and testing applications.
• Strong proficiency in programming languages such as Java, C#, or Python.
• Solid understanding of software development principles and best practices.
• Experience with web application development and related technologies such as HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
• Knowledge of database technologies such as SQL and query optimization.
• Familiarity with version control systems such as Git or SVN.
• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
• Strong communication and collaboration abilities.
• Attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality code.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.

• Outstanding communication skills, influencing abilities, and client focus.
• Professional proficiency in English is required.
• Demonstrated proficiency in using all Microsoft Office applications.

Preferred Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
• Current, active Secret (or higher) security clearance.
• Strong comprehension of Agile Project Management methodologies.
