Software Developer - Front End

Galactic is looking for developers who want to expand their knowledge and think outside of the box.

Some things you'll be doing:

• Design, implement, test and improve various aspects of our portal's user experience

• Implement a new page or report design based on a mock-up from our designer.

• Fix some weirdness with webpack to get the build moving again.

• Make a difference to help our company mission to secure a million people.

• Identify gaps in processes and tasks and work to fill them.

Skills you have:

• You know HTML, CSS and [Java|Type]Script like the back of your hand

• Detail focused, critical thinking and stellar problem-solving skills

• Self-directed and high agency

• Vast experience writing testable, self-documenting code.

• Experience with modern front-end web stacks (e.g. React, Vue, AlpineJS, Angular, Bootstrap, Tailwind)

• Experience working with RESTful APIs

Preferred Skills:

• Strong written and verbal communications

• Can explain technical concepts to non-technical and technical audiences alike
