Software Developer and Vendor Software Support Specialist

We are seeking an induvial highly proficient in MS-Net framework who will also act as a support specialist for some off-the-shelf software applications. In this role, you will be responsible for developing, implementing, and maintaining web and desktop applications primarily using .NET technologies. Additionally, you will provide technical support and troubleshooting for various vendor software solutions used within our organization. You will collaborate with other members of the IT team to define, design, and publish new features ensuring application performance, quality, and responsiveness on existing or new applications.

Essential Job Functions

  • Develop, test, and maintain applications using .NET technologies (C#, ASP.NET, .NET Core).

  • Design and implement database solutions using SQL Server and Entity Framework.

  • Create and consume RESTful APIs and SOAP services for seamless integration with third-party systems.

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and deliver high-quality software solutions.

  • Participate in code reviews and provide constructive feedback to peers.

  • Maintain version control using Azure DevOps and ensure code quality through automated testing.

  • Provide technical support and troubleshooting for various vendor software solutions.

  • Act as the primary point of contact for vendor software issues, ensuring timely resolution and minimal disruption to business operations.

  • Work closely with vendors to escalate and resolve complex issues, ensuring adherence to service level agreements (SLAs).

  • Conduct regular training sessions for end-users on the proper use and best practices of vendor software.

  • Assist in the integration of vendor software with in-house applications, ensuring seamless interoperability.

  • Document and maintain support procedures, knowledge base articles, and technical documentation.

  • Work closely with our BA and key stakeholders to design, implement, and enhance our existing enterprise and mobile applications and work on new technology related application projects.

  • Work with senior IT team members to design efficient, reliable, and reusable solutions to features and applications.

Minimum Job Requirements (Arial 12 Bold)

  • Thorough knowledge of object-oriented programming concepts with ability to think critically and find creative solutions to technical challenges.

  • Proficient in mobile app development for both iOS and Android using React-Native, .NET, Android Kotlin technologies.

  • 3-5 Years spent in complete Lifecycle of Software Development (SDLC) using .Net, C#, .Net Core, with MS SQL Server, on Azure (or AWS) cloud.

  • Bachelor's degree in computer science, engineering, or a related field.

  • Experience with version control like Git or Azure DevOps.

  • Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field.

  • Proven experience as a .NET Software Developer, with a strong understanding of the .NET framework, .NET Core, ASP.NET, and C#.

  • Experience with SQL Server, Entity Framework, and LINQ.

  • Proficiency in front-end technologies such as HTML, CSS, JavaScript, jQuery, and Angular/React.

  • Experience with RESTful APIs, SOAP, and Web Services.

  • Familiarity with version control systems such as Git and SVN.

  • Knowledge of the software development lifecycle (SDLC) and Agile methodologies (Scrum, Kanban).

  • Strong technical support and troubleshooting skills, with experience in vendor software integration and support.

  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills.

  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks and priorities.

Work Schedule

  • Monday - Friday, Normal Business Hours.

  • Evenings and weekends may be required as needed.
