As a Sr. ServiceNow Developer within PNC's TIS organization, you will be based in Pittsburgh, Pa or within PNC's footprint or remote.

Hiring manager is seeking someone with ServiceNow development experience.

  • Experience with building custom applications on ServiceNow

  • Experience working on Web Services integrations such as REST, JSON & SOAP and working in a SAAS Environment.

  • Working & implementation experience with Service Portal.

  • Functional knowledge of Project Management, Agile and SDLC Methodologies.

  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills and self-motivated.

  • Strong skills/experience with Incident Management, Change Management, Configuration Management, Service Request, Asset Management, Knowledge Management, Project & Demand Management.

  • Advanced analytical and problem-solving skills

  • Hands on experience on basic configurations such as Access controls, notifications, workflows, business rules, client scripts and script includes.

The chosen candidate responsibilities will include but not limited to:

Design ServiceNow integrations and work with ServiceNow, business partners and technical teams, including off-shore for smooth implementation.

Serve as administrator and platform support resource.

  • Provide end user technical and functional support for the ServiceNow platform by working with team of internal and external developers ensuring appropriate standards are followed.

  • Support, advise and coordinate with the workload of the off-shore technical team on implementation projects, enhancements, production support and maintenance activities.

  • Perform day to day support, administration and maintenance of the ServiceNow Platform

Job Description

  • Provides detailed technical design and development of software solutions using existing and emerging technology platforms.

  • Proposes & designs software solutions to address complex business needs.

  • Writes code, tests and deploys software.

  • Prepares technical and procedural documentation required for software.

  • Maintains and debugs software.

  • Knowledge of project management techniques and the ability to plan, design, develop, test, implement and maintain system development life cycle segments and phases.

Technical Troubleshooting

  • Knowledge of technical troubleshooting approaches, tools and techniques, and the ability to anticipate, recognize, and resolve technical (hardware, software, application or operational) problems.

Technical Writing/Documentation

  • Knowledge of the technical language and writing approach, and the ability to write paper-based and on-line technical reference documentation (guidelines, standards, procedures, processes, applications, etc.)

Work Experience

Roles at this level typically require a university / college degree. Higher level education such as a Masters degree, PhD, or certifications is desirable. Industry experience is typically 8+ years. At least 5 years of prior management experience is typically required. In lieu of a degree, a comparable combination of education and experience (including military service) may be considered.
