Software Developer SME

Job Description Job Description The Swift Group is seeking a talented and experienced Software Developer SME to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for developing, maintaining, and enhancing both web and client/server applications, leveraging your deep expertise in full-stack development.

You'll collaborate with a dynamic team to build high-performance applications while applying your strong skills in Java, Typescript, frontend frameworks, and database management. If you have a passion for software development and a desire to solve complex technical challenges in an agile environment, we want to hear from you The location is Chantilly, VA. Required Skills:

Hands-on experience programming web and client/server applications using Java, Typescript/JavaScript, HTML, and CSS. Strong hands-on experience with Spring Boot and Hibernate/JPA for backend development. Demonstrated experience with frontend frameworks such as Vue, React, or Angular.

Proficiency in database design and querying using SQL and Oracle. Solid hands-on experience with version control systems like Git (GitHub, GitLab, etc.). Proven experience with RESTful APIs and web services development. Experience working in Agile Development environments, following Scrum or other agile methodologies.

H.S Diploma TS/SCI Security clearance with Polygraph Desired Skills:

Hands-on experience with Linux-based or Windows-based systems and shell scripting. Familiarity with cloud platforms such as AWS and their associated tools and services.

Experience with build automation technologies such as Gradle, Maven, Jenkins, etc. Hands-on experience with testing frameworks such as JUnit, Groovy, and Cypress. Experience with application servers like WebSphere or Tomcat.

Familiarity with Maximo for asset management solutions. Experience with older versions of Spring Boot. Familiarity with Groovy on Grails for rapid application development.
